Christmas in July Returns to Pier 59

How One Logan Martin Lake Tradition Continues to Bring Hope to Alabama Children

Every summer, the Logan Martin Lake community gathers at Pier 59 for more than food, music and time on the water. They come together for a cause that has become one of East Alabama’s most meaningful annual traditions.

The 17th Annual Christmas in July fundraiser returned on July 11, 2026, bringing together a Boat Poker Run, live auction, live music, raffles and food.

Proceeds from the event help provide holiday gifts for students served by the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind.

A Community Tradition

The annual gathering combines lake life with local generosity. Boaters, businesses, volunteers and visitors contribute prizes, purchases and time to help make the holiday season brighter for Alabama children.
